The new look for Hammerite’s 21 product lines will go global later in the year. It is designed to modernise the brand and make product selection simpler for DIY enthusiasts and tradesmen.

The new livery for the metal paint features an updated version of the brand’s iconic shield device.
Refinery director Philip Armitage said: “We have completed designs for the UK, Spain, Belgium, Germany, France and Italy.
“At the moment the Hammerite re-livery is focusing on central Europe, including the roll out of Direct to Rust products in the UK; with a slow roll out for other countries across this year and next.
“Non-European countries will implement our new packaging guidelines in territories as far afield as Russia, Argentina and Uruguay.”
